Purpose

This infobox is used for individual seasons of reality talent competitions such as گات تلنت, Idols, صدا (مسابقه تلویزیونی) and ایکس فاکتور. An example for American Idol season 4 is provided alongside.

Separate multiple values using {{Plainlist}} or {{Flatlist}}.

name

Name of the competition show (e.g., American Idol or Britain's Got Talent)

first_aired and last_aired

This spans when the first episode was aired and when the finale was aired. Use {{Start date}} and {{End date}}, omit |df=y for US-style dates. In accordance with TV project guidelines, first_aired should not be competed until the first episode has aired and last_aired should remain as "present" until the season finale has aired.

judges, host or presenter and co-host or copresenter

Specify the any applicable staff here. Use presenter (and copresenter) for British/Australian shows.

broadcaster

The main domestic or host broadcasters of the season.

competitors

Total number of competitors in the competition.

finalsvenue

If the grand finale was held outside the normal studio (as is often for امریکن آیدل and Australian Idol), note this here.

winner fields

These fields are used to specify information about the winner once one is confirmed.

runner-name

2nd-place finisher.

image and caption

Used to provide an image and optional caption for a photograph of the winner.

last, next, and year

Providing the year, and the page titles for the applicable pages will generate succession arrows between different seasons.

british

Setting |british=yes will change some terms used to British terminology, such as using "presenter" instead of host and "series" instead of season.
