This template is used to add a link for the IMO ship identification number, and also to add the article to Category:IMO Number for use with the Ship identification parameter of {{Infobox ship career}}.

Add the ship's سازمان بینالمللی دریانوردی (IMO) identification number to the number parameter within the Ship identification parameter of {{Infobox ship career}}:

Articles marked with this template will be added to Category:IMO Number.
Editors may also add {{MMSI Number}} for vessels which have been issued a Maritime Mobile Service Identity number.
