تشوب
تشوب خدای آب و هوا که در راس خدایان هوری قرار داشت. تشوب در برخی از متنهای ادبی که بر قهرمانی بشری متمرکز هستند (از جمله نسخه هوری حماسه گیلگمش) حضور دارد.

در ادبیات آشورشناسی و هیتیشناسی، رومینویسیهای متعددی از نام تشوب وجود دارد، از جمله: Teššub،[۱] Tešub،[۲] Teššob[۳] و Teššop.[۴]

علاوه بر املای هجایی آوایی، نام تشوب را میتوان به خط میخی با علامت سومروگرام[و ۱] dIŠKUR نشان داد.[۵]
همخانوادههای تایید شده و مورد مناقشه ویرایش
توافق بر این است که نام تشوب همخانواده با اسم خاصِ خدای اورارتویی تیشبا[و ۲] است.[۵][۶]

تشوب یکی از قدیمیترین خدایان هوری بود.[۶]
کومه ویرایش
کومه[و ۵] (اکدی Kummu or Kummum, هیتی Kummiya,[۱۲] اورارتویی Qumenu[۱۳]) مرکز اصلی آیینی تشوب بود.[۱۲]
پادشاهی آراپها ویرایش
شهر آراپها (Arrapḫum[۱۴]) یا Āl-ilāni («شهر خدایان»)، کرکوک امروزی،[۱۵] از همان دوره بابلی باستان به عنوان یک مرکز آیینی برای خدای آب و هوا شناخته میشد.[۱۲]

معبد خدای آب و هوا در شهر حلب در متنهای شهر ابلا (پیش از دوره سارگون) جایگاهی مقدس بود.[۱۶]
کومانی و سایر مکانها در کیزوواتنا ویرایش
تشوب در کومانی[و ۶] در شمال پادشاهی کیزوواتنا پرستش میشد،[۱۷] این پادشاهی در دشتهای اطراف آدانا قرار داشت.[۱۸]
میتانی ویرایش
با وجود آنکه شواهد پرستش تشوب در دولت میتانی محدود است اما اتفاق نظر وجود دارد که پرستش او گسترده بوده است.[۱۹]
سایر شواهد هوری ویرایش
نامهای متعددی که به تشوب اشاره میکنند از متنهای پیدا شده در تیگونانوم[و ۷] شناخته شدهاند. این شهر در شمال طور عبدین و جنوب یا جنوب غربی دجله قرار دارد که مکان دقیق آن به دلیل آنکه لوحها در حفاریهای غیرقانونی به دست آمدهاند، ناشناخته باقی مانده است.[۲۰]
پذیرش در اوگاریت ویرایش
متنهای پیدا شده در اوگاریت (قرن سیزدهم پیشا دوران مشترک) نشانگر آن هستند که خدایان هوری، از جمله تشوب، در این شهر پرستش میشدند.[۲۱]

تشوب در میان هیتیها نیز پرستش میشد.[۲۲]

به دلیل نفوذ هوریها بر جوامع مختلف لووی،[و ۸] در جنوب آناتولی تشوب در راس بسیاری از پانتئونهای محلی قرار گرفت.[۲۳]
اساطیر ویرایش
تشوب و کوماربی ویرایش
شناختهشدهترین اسطورههایی بر تشوب متمرکز شدهاند، متعلق به چرخه کوماربی هستند.[۲۴] این اسطوره، به پادشاهی رسیدن تشوب و چالشهایی را که در پی آن به دلیل دسیسههای کوماربی با آن رو به رو میشود، توصیف میکند.[۲۵] کارلو کورتی به این نکته اشاره میکند که علیرغم عنوان رایج امروزی آن، شاید مناسبتر باشد که از آن به عنوان چرخه تشوب یاد شود.[۲۶] پیوتر تاراچا نیز از این تغییر نام پشتیبانی میکند.[۲۷] اریک ون دونگن همچنین استدلال میکند که برچسب قدیمی نیاز به بازنگری دارد و تشوب را به جای کوماربی به عنوان شخصیت اصلی آن میشناسد. اگر چه او عنوانی را ترجیح میدهد که به طور گستردهتری به پادشاهی در آسمان اشاره کند و نه یک خدای منفرد.[۲۸]
مشخص نیست که در اصل چند اسطوره این چرخه را تشکیل دادند.[۲۹] همچنین ممکن است بیش از یک چرخه از اسطورهها بر درگیری بین تشوب و کوماربی متمرکز باشند.[۳۰] توالی بازسازیشده مرسوم که در ادبیات مدرن آمده، شامل پنج اسطوره است: آهنگ پیدایش،[و ۹] آهنگ لاما، [و ۱۰] آهنگ نقره،[و ۱۱] آهنگ هدامو[و ۱۲] و آهنگ اولیکومی.[۳۱][و ۱۳]
آهنگ پیدایش (آهنگ کوماربی) ویرایش
صرف نظر از تعداد و چیدمان اسطورههایی که به عنوان بخشی از چرخه مربوط به تشوب و کوماربی طبقهبندی شدهاند، کارشناسان این قطعه را آغاز آن میدانند.[۳۲]
آهنگ لاما ویرایش
سومروگرام لاما همچنین میتواند به عنوان کال خوانده شود و بنا بر این اسم خدای نامبخشی که آهنگ لاما بر او متمرکز است، گاهی اوقات به صورت کال نیز آمده است.[۳۳]
آهنگ نقره ویرایش
در آهنگ نقره که به احتمال زیاد از یک نسخه اصلی هوری به زبان هیتی ترجمه شده است،[۳۴] (احتمالا در غرب سوریه سروده شده است)[۳۵] برای اولین بار زمانی از تشوب نام برده میشود که راوی، موجود نامبخش را بزرگتر از خدایان معرفی میکند.[۳۶]

آهنگ اولیکومی ویرایش
برخلاف بسیاری از روایتهای مرتبط، آهنگ اولیکومی به خوبی حفظ شده است.[۳۸]
سایر متنهای مرتبط ویرایش
با توجه به ارجاعات متعدد به اتحاد بین کوماربی و دریای شخصیتیافته در آهنگ هدامو و آهنگ اولیکومی، پیشنهاد شده است که آهنگ دریا اسطورهای دیگر متعلق به همین چرخه باشد.[۳۹]
بررسی تطبیقی ویرایش
شباهتهایی بین اسطورههای تلاش تشوب برای پادشاهی خدایان و بنمایههای اسطورهشناسی یونانی ذکر شده است و در آن، صعود او به راس پانتئون خدایان با جایگاه زئوس در تئوگونیا اثر هسیود مقایسه شده است.[۲۶] به گفته گری بکمن، این شباهتها نشانهای از این نیست که درگیری بر سر پادشاهی در آسمان، روایتی با منشا هندو-اروپایی بوده است بلکه به جای آن نشانهای از یک ویژگی مشترک شناختهشده در سراسر بینالنهرین، آناتولی و دریای مدیترانه است.[۴۰] همچنین احتمال میرود که اسطوره تولد آتنا از جمجمه شکافته زئوس از تولد تشوب الگوبرداری شده باشد.[۴۱][الف]
آهنگ رهایی ویرایش
تشوب یکی از شخصیتهای اصلی در آهنگ رهایی است[۴۳] که با عنوان حماسه آزادی نیز شناخته میشود.[۴۴]
داستانهای قهرمان بشری ویرایش
در قطعهای از یکی از نسخههای هوری حماسه گیلگمش نام تشوب نیز ذکر شده است.[۴۵] بکمن خاطرنشان میکند که در حال حاضر ترجمه و تفسیر کامل این متن امکانپذیر نیست اما تشوب به ظاهر «در همه جای» آن حضور دارد. از این جنبه میتوان آن را با هم نسخه اصلی اکدی و هم اقتباس هیتی مقایسه کرد که خدایان آبوهوای مربوط در آنها نقش مهمی ندارند.[۴۶]
