موژان مؤمن

(تغییرمسیر از موژان مومن)

موژان مؤمن (متولد ۱۹۵۰م ۱۳۲۹ش- تبریز) پزشک، مورخ، دانشور و پژوهشگر مستقل حوزه‌های دیانت بهائی، اسلام و تشیع است.[۱][۲] او در این زمینه‌ها مقالات و کتابهای متعددی من جمله در دایرةالمعارف ایرانیکا و کتابخانه بریتانیا منتشر کرده‌است. مؤمن عضو هیئت علمی انجمن سلطنتی آسیایی بریتانیای کبیر و ایرلند[۳] و دانش‌آموخته دانشگاه کمبریج در انگلستان است.[۴]

موژان در تبریز متولد شد و بعدها خانواده او به انگلیس نقل مکان کردند و در کوپینز کالج - تانتون - کالج سنت جان و کمبریج درس خواند[۵]

اثر مهم او کتاب (مقدمه ای بر اسلام شیعی) یک کتاب درسی در دانشگاههای مشهور است. [۶] در بسیاری از مقالات ویکیپدیا نیز مرجع به این کتاب را بعنوان (مومن صفحه ...) میبینید.

از نظر دیدگاه فکری، ئوآن کول موژان مؤمن را یک متفکر بهائی بنیادگرا می‌داند.[۷]
