حکومت جوسان در سال ۱۳۹۲ میلادی توسط ژنرال ئی سونگ گی در [[کره]] تشیل شد. حکومت جوسان تا سال ۱۸۹۷ میلادی به حیات خود ادامه داد و در طی این مدت ۲۶ پادشاه حکومت کردند. پایتخت این سلسله شهر هان سونگ {[[سئول]] امروزی} بود. در این دوره، دین [[کنفسیوس]] دین رسمی کشور شد. همچنین در این دوره ژاپن به کره حمله کرد ولی به دلیل کمک چین به کره، ژاپن در این حمله ناکام ماند. در این دوره، نفوذ چین در کره افزایش یافت به طوری که در قرن هفدهم میلادی، پادشاهان جوسان تنها روسای پوشالی بودند و قدرت اصلی در دست چینی‌ها بود و کره از چین تبعیت می‌کرد.▼
