'''دریای شمال''' دریایی در [[اقیانوس اطلس]] در قارهٔ [[اروپا]] می‌باشد. طول آن در حدود ۹۰۷ کیلومتر و پهنای آن ۵۶۰ کیلومتر می‌باشد و دارای مساحتی برابر ۵۷۵٬۰۰۰ کیلومتر مربع می‌باشد. قسمت بزرگی از حوزهٔ آبریز اروپا شمال [[دریای بالتیک]] وارد دریای شمال می‌شود.
