This template inserts a date for an event in the fictional history of سرزمین میانی. این تاریخ‌ها برای پیروی از این استانداردها طراحی شده‌اند.Wikipedia:WikiProject_Middle-earth/Standards#Dates. Please see that page for information on when this template and other 'date links' should be used. In general, this template should be used only to clarify cases where a few dates in an article or section apply to a different 'age' than the rest. Thus, it should not appear at all in most Middle-earth articles and only once or twice in those articles where it is needed.

Usage:
{{ME-date|<age>|<year>}} or {{ME-date|age=<age>|year=<year>}}

Both parameters are optional. The <year> should be a numeric value and the <age> any of the following;

Shire Reckoning	S, SR, S.R., or Shire
