در دوران فرمانروایی خسروشاه، روابط میان جستانیان و [[آل بویه|بوئیان]] رونق گرفت؛ او با ارسال سربازان [[دیلمیان|دیلمی]] به [[عضدالدوله دیلمی|عضدالدوله]] در مبارزاتش کمک رسانی نمود. {{sfn|Madelung|1975|p=224}} متقابلاً زمانی که خسروشاه بیمار بود، عضدالدوله یکی از پزشکانش را به نام [[بختیشوع|جبرئیل سوم]] نزد خسروشاه فرستاد تا او را درمان کند. عضدالدوله با خواهر خسروشاه ازدواج نمود که ثمرۀ آن تاج الدوله (ابوالحسین احمد) و ضیاءالدوله (ابوطاهر فریزشاه) بود. {{sfn|Donohue|2003|pp=86-93}} خسروشاه همچنین یک برادر به نام فولاذ بن مناذر داشت که از سرداران برجسته آل بویه بود و نفوذ زیادی در دربار [[بغداد]] داشت.{{sfn|Donohue|2003|pp=86-93}} خسروشاه در سال ۳۸۳ خورشیدی درگذشت. نام جانشین او ناشناخته است. اما این سلسله تا اواخر قرن چهارم به حکومت در [[رودبار]] ادامه داد. {{sfn|Madelung|1975|p=224}}
