Прямоугольное двухстороннее полотнище зелёного цвета с отношением ширины к длине 2:3, несущее вдоль нижнего края полосу голубого цвета. В центре полотнища изображены фигуры из герба Гавриловского района: примыкающий к верхнему краю сегмент жёлтого круга, с красным пламенем в середине, а поверх границы полос — жёлтый сноп, перевязанный красной лентой, с лежащим на нём белым серпом с жёлтой рукояткой
