Español: Retablo Mayor de la Cartuja de Miraflores (Burgos). Isabel la Católica. Fue Isabel la Católica quien encargó este retablo a Gil de Silóe para conmemorar a sus padres, Juan II e Isabel de Portugal, enterrados en la cabecera de la iglesia. No cabe duda de que la reina también quiso estar representada en tan magna obra, junto a su marido Fernando, arrodillados y vestidos con sus mejores galas, presentados por sus santos titulares. Las dos figuras están de perfil, coronados y con las manos enguantadas, una muestra más del buen hacer de Silóe y de su colaborador en la pintura, Diego de la Cruz.
