پروتئین SMG5 (انگلیسی: Protein SMG5) یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «SMG5» کُدگذاری می‌شود.^[۴]^[۵]^[۶]

این پروتئین حاوی یک دومِـین PIN است که به‌نظر می‌رسد در جایگاه‌های فعال خود، ریشه‌های مولکولی‌اش را جهش داده‌است.^[۷]
