This template is used to conveniently link into the نمادهای حاشیه‌نویسی شطرنج article. For example,

{{chesspunc|!?}} links the same as

[[نمادهای حاشیه‌نویسی شطرنج]]

where !? and similar are section name anchors, currently: ??, ?, ?!, !?, !, !!, =, +/=, =/+, +/−, ±, −/+, ∓, +−, −+, ∞, and =/∞.

Note: As a temporary workaround to pass any "=" character, enclose in curly brackets. For example,

{{chesspunc|{{=}}}}, or

{{chesspunc|+/{{=}}}}, etc.
