پانترک ها روی نادرشاه همیشه ادعا داشتند و او را غیر ایرانی می خوانند اما به مرور زمان پوچ بودن نظریه آنان اثبات شد
نادرشاه از ایل [[ایل افشار|افشار]] بود که از ایل‌های [[ترکمن‌ها|ترکمان]] بودند در اوایل دوره [[صفویان|صفوی]] برای نگاهبانی از مرزهای ایران در برابر هجوم [[ازبک‌ها]] از [[آذربایجان]] (در شمال غرب ایران و شرق ترکیه کنونی)، به [[خراسان]] کوچانده شدند.
