Nord 1002 Pingouin II (originally NJ-C11, now UK registered as G-ATBG) at Kemble Air Day 2008, Kemble Airport, Gloucestershire, England. Built in 1945, this aircraft has been painted to represent an Me Bf 108 Taifun, a type from which it was derived after World War 2. The Pingouin was built by Nord on the production line established in France in early 1942 for construction of the German Bf 108. (Bf means "Bayerische Flugzeugwerke" (Bavarian Aircraft Works).) Please notice: Photographed aircraft is a Nord 1002 but it is not supplied with an original Renault engine. The engine cover is quite different. Be careful.
