Usage
ویرایشThis template expands a name to link to the appropriate متروی نیویورک سیتی station article. There are three parameters:
- 1 (mandatory) - Station name
- 2 (optional) - Company (IRT, BMT or IND) and line name (without "Line"); if empty, "New York City Subway" is substituted
|alt=(optional named parameter) - Replaces the link text to something other than the default text from parameter 1
- The following abbreviations are recognized:
Note that these abbreviations are not case sensitive: i.e.{{NYCS station|Roosevelt Island|63RD}}produces the same result as{{NYCS station|Roosevelt Island|63rd}}.
The template can be abbreviated as {{nycs}} (for New York City Subway).For example:
{{NYCS station|Court Street}}expands to[[Court Street (New York City Subway)|Court Street]].{{NYCS station|Court Street|BMT Fourth Avenue}}and{{nycs|Court Street|B4}}expand to[[Court Street (BMT Fourth Avenue Line)|Court Street]].All متروی نیویورک سیتی station articles follow the link form of terminating with "(<line name> Line)" or "(New York City Subway)".
Discretion should be used on whether to name the place itself or the station that serves it. In railway articles it is generally preferred to use the station unless specifically talking about the place, for example that Myrtle Avenue is at Myrtle Avenue.
