Dr. Zareh Soghomonian has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in electrical electronics and systems engineering and management.

In preparation for his career, Dr. Soghomonian attended the University of Wales, where he earned a B.Eng. (with Honors) in 1991 and a Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronics and Systems Engineering in 1996. He started his career as a research engineer at European Electrical Steels (previously known as British Steel) in Newport, South Wales, United Kingdom, from 1991 to 1994, and from 1995 to 1999, he worked as a senior lead engineer at Asea Brown Boveri (ABB). Dr. Soghomonian traveled to the United States, and was the manager of advanced electrical engineering at WaveCrest Labs in Dulles, Virginia from 2000 to 2004. After a brief tenure as a lead engineer for BAE Systems in San Jose, California, he accepted a position at General Atomics, acting as a Technical Manager of electromagnetic systems for five years. Continuing his professional pursuits, Dr. Soghomonian worked at BMT Syntek Technologies for several years as Director of Power System Technologies, and from 2010 to 2014 he held the post of a Subject Matter Expert of Electromagnetic systems at Vencor (previously known as QinetiQ North America). He spent three years as a senior lead engineer for Huntington Ingalls Industries, and from 2017 to 2019 provided his skills and expertise as a Senior Technical Program Manager for CACI International Incorporated. Most recently, Dr. Soghomonian served as a Senior Project Engineer for Northrup Grumman but resigned due to funding issues. He is actively seeking executive technical management opportunities in the Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. metro areas.

As a testament to his longstanding and successful career, he holds more than 50 patents and has more than 50 technical publication credits. He is a past member of the Society of American Military Engineers, the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE); and an active senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and has received more than 17 international engineering awards. As a further testament to his success, experience, and stature, Dr. Soghomonian has been selected for inclusion in the 70th edition of Who’s Who in America, as well as multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering and Who’s Who in the World. Dr. Soghomonian was the recipient of a Century Medal and was enlisted in the Barons of Who’s Who in 2000, as part of the global 500 leaders of the last century in Science and Engineering.
