ستا دادویان

تاریخ‌نگار اهل ارمنستان

ستا دادویان (ارمنی: Սեդա Տատոյան زاده ۱۹۵۰) یک محقق تاریخ قرون وسطی ارمنستان اهل ارمنستان است. در بین سال‌های ۱۹۸۶ و ۲۰۰۴ استاد دانشگاه آمریکایی بیروت (AUB) در رشته هنر، فلسفه و تحقیقات فرهنگی بوده‌است. وی همچنین در سایر دانشگاه‌ها ا زجمله هایکازیان (۱۹۸۱–۱۹۸۶), کلمبیا(۲۰۰۲، ۲۰۰۶), حوزه علمیه نرسس مقدس (۲۰۰۷–۲۰۱۰), و شیکاگو (۲۰۱۰) تدریس نموده‌است. وی تا کنون بیش از پنجاه مقاله و ده کتاب نوشته‌است.

زندگی‌نامه ویرایش

سدا دادویان در سال در حلب، سوریه از والدینی ارمنی به دنیا آمد. وی سپس به بیروت، لبنان نقل مکان نمود جایی که در سال ۱۹۶۹ مدرک کارشناسی ارشد خویش در رشته فلسفه از دانشگاه آمریکایی بیروت دریافت نمود. در سال ۱۹۸۶ به مقام استادی در دانشگاه آمریکایی بیروت رسید و تا سال ۲۰۰۵ این مقام را برعهده داشت. دادویان همچنین در رشته هنر در بیروت و لندن تحصیل نموده‌است و یک نقاش می‌باشد. سخنرانی‌های وی توسط آکادمیسین‌ها و محققان همچون مایکل مورونی مورد تحسین قرار گرفته‌است. در سال ۱۹۹۹ مدال داویت آنهاقت، عالی‌ترین مدال آکادمی فلسفه ارمنی به دادویان خاطر مشارکت‌هایش دربارهٔ تحقیقات فلسفی ارمنی اعطا گردیده‌است.
